Usage Scenarios

Once you have setup and activated your Table dimensions the dimension value code and description will be created on creation of the entity.

So, using the example from the Setup section, when a new customer is created the following dimension value is created:

Also the following Default Dimension is created against the customer:

Tip

This will only create dimension codes for new customers, if you already have existing customers you will need to create their dimension codes and descriptions manually.
